The Faerie Realm opens its gates for one night of revelry and revelation. The monarchs have been left without an heir after a tragedy that unsettled the realm, and the founding families have been summoned to witness what comes next…

The Setting

Step into a glowing fae realm shaped by light, music, and the symbols of renewal. The space will feel alive with colour and atmosphere, inviting you to wander, explore, and take in the details of a world that has opened its gates for one special night.

The Atmosphere

The Faerie Realm Ball is designed to be welcoming for everyone. You can dance, mingle, follow the story, or simply enjoy the beauty of the evening at your own pace. Some guests will lean into the fantasy more deeply, and others may prefer to relax and soak in the ambience. Both choices are equally welcome.

The Story

Throughout the night you’ll notice hints of an unfolding narrative. Characters may share fragments of information, quieter moments might reveal a clue, and certain interactions can shift what the court believes or expects. The story is entirely optional, but it is always present for those who choose to look for it.

The Characters

You will meet figures from within the realm, including the ruling monarchs who host the Ball, stewards who help guide the flow of the evening, and courtiers who carry knowledge, secrets, and agendas of their own. Every guest is part of the world too, whether they choose to play a role or simply enjoy the celebration.

Choice Elements

If you enjoy interactive experiences, you can follow subtle pathways through the night. There may be secrets to uncover, quiet conversations that reveal new perspectives, or choices that influence how the monarchs and courtiers view the unfolding events. Nothing is required, but everything is open to you.

The Faerie Realm has gathered for a night unlike any other. After a tragedy that left the realm without an heir, whispers have grown restless and old concerns have begun to surface. Some believe the loss was an accident. Others suspect that darker intentions were involved, but no one has ever uncovered the truth.

With uncertainty spreading through the land, the monarchs have summoned the ten founding families to the court. This night of celebration is also a moment of reckoning. Bonds will be tested, choices will be noticed, and the future of the realm may shift depending on what is discovered.

Guests are invited to step into this world, observe its secrets, speak with its characters, and form their own impressions of the mystery that shadows the Spring Court. Not everything will be revealed, but every detail has a place in the story as new rulers are crowned…

Dress Code and Inspiration

Choosing what to wear is often the biggest worry before a fantasy event, so we’ve designed the dress code to feel inspiring rather than restrictive.

Theme and Aesthetic

The Faerie Realm Ball takes place within a Spring Court inspired setting, where colours, fabrics, and shapes are influenced by nature, light, and elegance. Think soft tones, floral hints, shimmering details, and outfits that carry a touch of magic. You’re welcome to interpret the theme however you feel most comfortable.

Flexibility and Comfort

You don’t need an elaborate outfit to fit in. Many guests will create their own take on the Spring Court using items they already own. Others may choose more creative or detailed attire. Both approaches are equally welcome. The goal is for you to feel confident, comfortable, and part of the world in a way that suits your personality.

Inspiration Guide

Consider silhouettes that feel timeless, fabrics that catch the light, and accessories that suggest fantasy or fae influence. Soft pastels, greens, golds, florals, and natural motifs fit well within the court. Jewel tones, darker palettes, and metallic accents also have a place, especially for characters who lean into intrigue or mystery.

    Everything in the Noble Tier, plus:

    • Early entry from 16:30, giving you time to explore the court before the main crowd arrives

    • A pre-ball mystery box, sent to your home a few weeks before the event, containing curated items that help you prepare for the night

    • An additional drink token to enjoy during the Ball

    This tier is designed for guests who want an extra layer of magic before and during the experience.

FAQs

  • Guests are invited to dress within the Spring Court aesthetic. You can be as subtle or expressive as you like. Full guidance is available in our Dress Code section.

  • Not at all. You can dance if you’d like to, or simply enjoy the atmosphere. The evening is designed for all comfort levels.

  • Roleplay is completely optional. You can interact with characters if you’re curious, follow the story lightly, or choose not to participate in that element. Every approach is welcome.

  • Yes. Many guests attend these experiences solo. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive, and there will be opportunities to meet others ahead of time via a private Discord we will setup if you wish.

  • Yes, there is a light narrative woven throughout the event, centred on the Realm’s uncertainty following the loss of an heir. The story is optional but available for anyone who wants to explore it.

  • The Ball will run across the evening, with specific times provided in your ticket information.

  • Yes canapes will be served along with a late night snack, there will be a fully serviced bar for you to purchase drinks throughout the evening.

  • Yes. You may take personal photos, and there will be designated spaces for portraits and creative shots. Some areas may have gentle restrictions, which will be clearly marked. We’d love for you to tag us any any photos @fantasyballsuk
